Not like any other purple shampoo I've tried a lot of purple shampoos and I have a tendency to compare them all to the Milkshake blonde shampoo because up until now it was the best performer on my hair. My hair has been bleached almost to death, I don't know how I have any left! It throws all of the colours of a sunset, not in a good way! I struggle to get a nice clean blonde and because it's damaged it's really porous so I always end up with blue/purple streaks, I can put my hand on my heart and say that didn't happen with this shampoo. I was shocked that it not only toned down the yellow but it cooled down the orange as well. I'm left with beautiful icy tones on the lighter bits and a cool beige tone on the orange, I ain't no tabby cat no more!! This is like no other purple shampoo, it doesn't dry your hair out and it feels like a luxury hydrating shampoo. I always felt like if it doesn't stain your hands it's not powerful enough, this shampoo has completely debunked that theory! It's so gentle but it's unbelievably effective. Bottom line, it really works!!
